National work
Founded as a demonstration project, it has always been part of the Institute’s mission to demonstrate in one community what can be done in any community to improve care near the end of life. Our national work takes a number of forms.
Tools for Action
Life's End Institute hosts an annual conference and retreat for leaders in end-of-life care. Tools for Action consistently provides insight into current trends in end-of-life care, community-based programming ideas, excellent networking opportunities, and a chance to enjoy Montana. More than one participant has called Tools for Action the “most important conference I’ve ever attended.”
Lifelines
Networking is key to success. Our bi-monthly e-bulletin, Lifelines, provides information on national policy issues, community engagement strategies, news about resources and publications, updates on up-coming events, and news from community and state coalitions and other organizations working to improve end-of-life care. Lifelines helps people stay connected with what is going on around the end-of-life field.
